Abstract


As a 3rd grade graduate student in mechanical engineering, I have taken part in the exchange program of Xi’an Jiaotong University and RWTH Aachen University for 1 year in Aachen, Germany.

RWTH Aachen University, which is founded in 1870, is one of the world's top universities of science and technology. At the same time, it is also a member of the German elite university and TU9. It has long been hailed as “the MIT in Europe”. RWTH Aachen University ranks 79th in the QS rankings, and its mechanical engineering, economic engineering, electronic information engineering, and natural science disciplines rank first in Germany for a long time.

My research area is phase retrieval technology. This time, I will suggest an introduction to a Transport of Intensity Equation based Phase Retrieval Technology, which is about its background, theory and application.

In addition, there will be another attached report, for the international conference that I have taken part in 23.06.2019-27.06.2019 in Munich, Germany. SPIE Digital Optical Technologies is the premier European conference for scientists, engineers, researchers, and product developers to discuss the latest research in measurement systems, modeling, video metrics, and inspection.
